Epilogue

We are not “gutless”. We do not fear public speaking more than death. Speaking to people who refuse to listen is nothing but confrontation, a waste of time. Before the May 9^th meeting, Councilman Bill Hill said that we could attend the meeting but in order to follow legal protocol, nobody would be allowed to ask questions or discuss anything about Nexus.  We came to the meeting and presented The Petition for the record. As Councilman Bill Hill directed, we did not ask questions. We did not discuss. As a group, our neighborhood honored the rule of law because we felt it was time that someone behaved honorably in the Onamia City Hall.
