Dear Mr. D’Angelo
I know that you probably are not
reading this newspaper with your morning coffee every day. But I am sure
your lawyers are. If they are, I would like to them to tell you about my
concerns. Your employees, employee spouses and supporters seem to be
getting out of control. The level of anger they are demonstrating and the
venom they are spewing with insults and name calling is not a very
desirable attribute of someone that wants to be my neighbor. And this
attitude brings into question their qualifications to work with juveniles
with sensitive case issues. And may be a concern to licensing and
accreditation agencies, whoever they are COA, DOC, AMA, ADA, FEMA or
ASPCA. Not only with their work attitude, but they will have to travel
past the vulnerable elderly and disabled people that you are moving next
to. Traffic studies have shown that level of anger can be very
distracting.
Again you will increase our exposure to
a serious incident to go along with the exposure to 94 convicted juvenile
sex offenders and the city council members and their friends!
My suggestion to you is to hold
sensitivity training sessions with your employees and their spouses. And
hold civil rights and constitutional training sessions with your board
members. And anger management sessions with both. Yah, and throw in some
ethics as well. Don’t worry about the council members, they are hopeless.
